# 1 Pinning different topics

You should pin only those things which interest you & also tweet it on twitter, that you have pinned it. I never pin too many things related to a similar topic. Trying different boards/topics while pinning is always a good idea.

Commenting on other’s pins which you like& admire or which grabs your attention is a great idea. This makes you an active pinner & it also helps you to increase your following. This also helps you gain a lot of knowledge & making new Pinterest friends which is always good for getting good traffic to your account. So keep on commenting.

I have seen many pinners who consistently repin there old pins. It doesn’t interests me as I have already seen it multiple times. So you should always keep your pin boards fresh with new pins.

This is something which many are unaware of. You can allow other pinners to pin on your boards. If you get some big collaborator boards, you will see you’re following increasing very sharply.

You should often check your Pinterest source which will help you to know that what people like on your profile. Whenever someone repins your pin or comments on it, you should thank them for it.
